The Bio-Medical Engineering Department (BMED) module keeps track of the details of the Bio-medical equipment installed at SGPGI. The details include equipment code, category, department name, location, and vendor's name and purchase details. This module also handles complaints and service details of different equipment. This module interacts with the central stores module for equipment receipt.

Salient Features:

  • Equipment Master details: Details of the equipment and their accessories are stored
  • Vendor Master details: Vendor details are entered using this screen
  • Equipment Maintenance Master: Stores the maintenance details of the equipment i.e. whether it is under Comprehensive AMC, Warranty or non-comprehensive AMC
  • Item Receipt Details: This screen is used to receive items issued by the Central Stores
  • Spares issue Details: This screen maintains the record of spares usage in service
  • Equipment Compliant: Complaints regarding equipment from various departments can be lodged using this screen
  • Service Details: After repairing the equipment, service details can be filled by the service Engineer
  • Gate Pass And Entry Pass: The gate pass and entry pass is prepared for incoming and outgoing items of the hospital

  • Department wise report on maintenance of installed equipment
  • Report on status of all Equipment
  • Report on Complaint register
  • Report on Service register
