Palash Sinha
Recognition by India's Oldest Scientific Academies

C-DAC Pune is proud to announce that Dr. Palash Sinha, Project Manager, HPC-ESEG Group, has been selected as a Member of the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI), one of India's oldest and most prestigious scientific academies, established in 1930. This distinguished recognition honours scientists and researchers who have demonstrated sustained excellence in research, innovation and scientific contributions, following a rigorous peer-review and evaluation process. Dr. Sinha's election reflects his scientific contributions and the research excellence fostered at C-DAC, while further strengthening C-DAC’s visibility within the national scientific community. His NASI membership will facilitate engagement with leading scientists and researchers, promote interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge exchange, and create opportunities for strategic research partnerships, mentoring and capacity building. This recognition underscores C-DAC's commitment to scientific excellence, innovation and leadership in advanced computing and emerging technologies.

Shri. Gaur Sunder elected as the Chair of SNOMED International Member Forum

C-DAC Congratulates Shri. Gaur Sunder, Associate Director, HPC – Medical & Bioinformatic Applications Group, C-DAC, Pune and Chief Investigator of the National Resource Centre for EHR Standards (NRCeS) project, for being elected as the Co-Chair of the Member Forum of SNOMED International (An International SDO in Digital Health) for a period of two years.

Nomination of Dr. Anindita Banerjee as an expert to the iCET (India) group

C-DAC Congratulates Dr. Anindita Bannerjee, Adjunct Scientist, C-DAC, Pune for being nominated as an expert to the iCET (India) group, India-U.S. Critical and Emerging Technologies Initiative (iCET), which was launched at a meeting between the Hon'ble Prime Minister and the President of the United States of America, in Tokyo on May 24, 2022.
