The ‘Short Term Open Access’(STOA, an Smartgrid market Component) software developed by C-DAC KP Bangalore has been awarded the Best Government to Business (G2B) Initiative of the Year eMaharashtra 2012 award. The STOA software was developed by the Real Time Systems & Smart Grid Group (RTSSG) for the Western Regional Load Despatch Centre (WRLDC) Mumbai.
The award was presented to Shri. B.S. Bindhumadhava, Associate Director by Prof (Smt) Fauzia Tehseen Khan Hon’ble Minister of State for General Administration, Information and Publicity, Cultural Affairs, Protocol, School Education, Women and Child Development, Public Health and Family Welfare, Minorities Development, Government of Maharashtra during the eGov award ceremony held at Mumbai on 27th April 2012.
This award recognizes those government departments who have used ICT tools for improved services, transactions and interactions between the local and central government and the private sector for projects implemented in the state of Maharashtra.
The Short Term Open Access software was developed for the Open Access Energy trading and is currently being used by all the five regional load dispatch centres NRLDC,ERLDC,NERLDC,WRLDC and SRLDC.
