C-DAC Delhi concluded Certificate Course in Quantum Computing, organized under the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Scheme of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India. The intensive training programme was conducted from June 01st to 12th, 2026 and brought together 14 participants from 8 countries: Sierra Leone, Dominican Republic, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Zimbabwe.

To mark the successful completion of the programme and celebrate the achievements of the participants, a Valedictory Ceremony was held on June 12th, 2026 at C-DAC Delhi.

The event commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp and a rendition of Saraswati Vandana. Shri Jitendra Singh, Scientist G and Centre Head, C-DAC Delhi delivered the welcome address. He urged participants to be the goodwill ambassadors of C-DAC to propagate course being offered under ITEC in India to their colleagues, friends and relatives. He applauded faculty for designing such a comprehensive, structured and rich content for the course while also appreciating the organising team at C-DAC Delhi.

During her special address to the ITEC participants, Dr. Priyanka Jain, Scientist F & Group Head, NCAI, emphasized the significance of the Quantum Computing course and its growing relevance in the evolving technology landscape. This was followed by a presentation by Shri Vijay Kumar Kayat, Scientist E, who provided an overview of ITEC, C-DAC, and C-DAC's expanding global footprint and international engagements.

The course faculty members - Shri Kartike Pushkarana, Shri Krishna Sharma, Shri Rohit Mishra, and Shri Jaysh Hire shared their enriching experiences and reflections on their interactions with the participants. They also presented a short film, Memoirs, capturing memorable moments and experiences from the participants' stay at C-DAC Delhi, offering a nostalgic glimpse into their learning journey and cultural

During the Valedictory Ceremony, the participants shared their experiences of gaining new skills in Quantum Computing and expressed their appreciation for the exposure to Indian culture, the heritage visits to Delhi and Agra, the warm hospitality, and the diverse Indian cuisine. They conveyed a high level of satisfaction with the programme and enthusiastically expressed their interest in attending more such courses at C-DAC in India in the future.

During the course, the participants were taken on a weekend cultural and heritage tour of Delhi and Agra, providing them with an opportunity to experience India's rich history, architectural marvels, and vibrant cultural traditions.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of Course Completion Certificates and mementoes to all participants by Shri Jitendra Singh, Dr. Priyanka Jain, and Shri Vijay Kumar Kayat, marking the successful completion of the programme.
