C-DAC Mumbai organized the Convocation and Farewell Ceremony on February 7th, 2026, to honour the graduating students of the August 2025 Post Graduate Diploma batch. The event, held at the Kharghar Campus and coordinated by the Education & Training division of C-DAC Mumbai, marked a historic milestone as students from C-DAC Thiruvananthapuram and C-DAC CINE (Guwahati) joined the convocation ceremony for the first time alongside C-DAC Mumbai.
This year's convocation recorded the largest-ever participation at the Kharghar campus, with a total of 375 graduating students - 320 from C-DAC Mumbai and 55 from C-DAC Thiruvananthapuram and CINE. Students from five programmes were felicitated during the ceremony: PG-DAC, PG-DBDA, PG-DCSF, PG-DAI, and HPC-ACC.
The ceremony featured inspiring addresses from esteemed dignitaries, including Chief Guest Dr. Debashis Dutta, Executive Vice President & Chief Scientist at Reliance Jio Infocom Ltd, Dr. C.P. Johnson, Scientist G; Ms. Veena Tyagi, Scientist G; Shri. Vinukumar A.R., Scientist G; and Shri. Hiron Bose, Scientist F. Their messages emphasized continuous learning, adaptability in emerging technologies, and the promising career path ahead for the graduating students.
The Course Coordinators formally announced the Post Graduate Diploma graduands to receive their Certificates. The participation of students across three C-DAC centres -Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, and Guwahati - added to the grandeur and collaborative spirit of the occasion.
The event celebrated the dedication, perseverance, and achievements of the graduating students, while strengthening the bond between C-DAC and its alumni across centres. It marked not only the culmination of their academic journey but also the beginning of their professional growth within India's technology ecosystem.
