C-DAC Mumbai successfully conducted the False Reject Rate (FRR) testing of Mantra fingerprint devices on August20th, 2025. The FRR testing was carried out as a part of 100 FRR testing project sponsored by UIDAI. The FRR testing is a process of provisional certification given to biometric devices for using them in UIDAI biometric authentication. These are certified by STQC after the testing conducted by C-DAC. The testing is performed in a closed environment over 100 subjects for fingerprint. After the certification the supplier details are published on STQC website.
