The inspection of C-DAC Patna by the Parliamentary Official Language Committee was successfully conducted on May14th, 2026 in Patna. The committee carried out a detailed review of the implementation of the Official Language (Hindi) at the Centre, including bilingual correspondence, compliance with Section 3(3) of the Official Languages Act, use of Hindi in official noting and drafting, Hindi training initiatives, meetings of the Official Language Implementation Committee, and various efforts undertaken to promote and propagate the use of Hindi.

During the inspection, the committee examined the records, documents, reports, and overall implementation framework presented by C-DAC Patna and appreciated the sincere and systematic efforts being undertaken by the centre towards the effective implementation of the Official Language Policy. Among the organizations reviewed, the committee acknowledged the notable work carried out by C-DAC Patna in promoting the progressive use of Hindi in official functioning and appreciated the centre’s continuous commitment in this direction.

Under the leadership of Centre Head, Shri Abhinav Dixit, C-DAC Patna highlighted its ongoing efforts to strengthen the use of Hindi across administrative, technical, and official activities. The centre also presented various initiatives undertaken to encourage the practical use of Hindi in day-to-day office work and institutional communication.

The successful conduct of the inspection reflected the collective dedication and coordinated efforts of the entire C-DAC Patna team. The centre also received valuable guidance and continuous support from the C-DAC Corporate Office throughout the preparation and execution of the inspection process. The support extended by the Shri Niranjan Vaishnav, Registrar, C-DAC, along with the guidance of the Shri Prabhakar Pandey, Hindi Section, C-DAC Corporate, significantly contributed towards the effective implementation and promotion of Official Language activities at the centre.

The inspection served as a proud and motivating milestone for C-DAC Patna. The centre remains firmly committed to the effective implementation, promotion, and wider use of Official Language Hindi and will continue to work towards strengthening the objectives of the Official Language Policy in the years ahead.
