C-DAC, Delhi successfully conducted a two-week training programme on "Postgres SQL, MongoDB, NextJS, NodeJS, ReactJS, AngularJS, Python and Fundamentals of Cyber Security" from March 09thto 20thMarch 2026 for 10 probationers of the IS Wing of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) at UPSC, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi. The training programme aimed at enhancing the technical capabilities of probationers in modern software development technologies and cyber security awareness.
The induction ceremony was held on March09th, 2026, where Shri. Ankit Kumar, PM &Dr. Shoyab Ali, SPE, ACTS were present. Dr. Shoyab Ali introduced the participants to the role and contributions of C-DAC in the field of Information Technology and Electronics and highlighted the growing importance of emerging technologies for government officers. Officials from UPSC also addressed the participants and emphasized the significance of the training programme, encouraging the probationers to actively participate and gain valuable knowledge during the course.
The training programme was conducted through intensive classroom sessions and hands-on practical exercises covering key areas of modern software development and database technologies with the session initiated by Shri. Ankit Kumar. Shri. Pankaj Kumar Mahto, SPE - ACTS, C-DAC Delhi delivered detailed sessions on software development technologies, explaining the concepts and practical applications of frameworks and programming tools included in the curriculum. The training sessions enabled participants to gain exposure to real-world development environments and strengthened their understanding of full-stack development technologies.
On the final day of the programme, Shri. Jaibheem Gaikwad, PM, ICDconducted a comprehensive session on Cyber Security Awareness, highlighting the importance of cyber hygiene, secure digital practices, and safeguarding information systems in government organizations.
The valedictory ceremony was held on March20th,2026 at UPSC, where certificates of completion were distributed to all participants in presence of officials from UPSC & C-DAC. During the ceremony, the Best Participant of the training programme was also selected based on performance in continuous assessments conducted throughout the course.
