About SeisRTM
SeisRTM is an indigenous seismic imaging software developed by C-DAC, in collaboration with GEOPIC ONGC and IIT Roorkee under National Supercomputing Mission (NSM). SeisRTM can provide high resolution 2D & 3D seismic images of complex geological subsurface using acquired large seismic data. It serves as a state-of-the-art solution in India, providing advanced RTM capabilities for upstream oil and gas exploration.
SeisRTM participated in SPG 2025, held in Jaipur from October 26th-28th, 2025. As one of the flagship events in the field of geoscience and energy exploration, SPG 2025 provided an excellent platform for SeisRTM to present its advanced seismic imaging capabilities, engage with industry experts, and foster valuable collaborations.
The SeisRTM stall attracted significant attention from industry experts, researchers, and students. A highlight of the event was the visit of Shri. Om Prakash Sinha, Director of Exploration, ONGC, along with several distinguished dignitaries, who reviewed SeisRTM's innovations and expressed appreciation for its advanced seismic imaging capabilities.
In addition, the SeisRTM team engaged with representatives from ONGC, Oil India, Reliance, Germy, Vedanta, S-Cube Technologies, Absolute Imaging, and many other esteemed organizations. The stall also witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and young professionals, whose curiosity and passion for geophysical innovation were truly inspiring.
Along with the seismic imaging solution, visitors showed keen interest in C-DAC'sHPC (High-Performance Computing) systems, which play a vital role in delivering faster and efficient seismic data processing. The demonstrations highlighted how SeisRTM integrates powerful computing performance with advanced algorithms to achieve high-quality imaging results.
During SPG 2025, SeisRTM highlighted its indigenously developed, cost-effective seismic imaging solution. Designed for the energy and exploration sector, the technology delivers high-performance imaging, offering reliable and efficient results.The overwhelming interest from attendees reaffirmed the solution's relevance and impact in driving technological excellence within the energy and exploration industry.
