MoU with RKGIT, Ghaziabad

C-DAC, Delhi signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology (RKGIT), Ghaziabad on January16th, 2026, to collaborate on joint innovation, research, development, technology adoption, and capacity building.

The MoU establishes a strategic framework for cooperation aimed at joint innovation, research and development, technology adoption, and human resource capacity building. The collaboration seeks to bridge industry academia gaps by aligning advanced digital technologies with skill development initiatives, thereby enhancing employability and supporting the evolving needs of the Information technology sector.

Under this MoU, C-DAC and RKGIT, Ghaziabad will jointly identify and work in key emerging technology domains, including but not limited to Artificial Intelligence (AI), High Performance Computing (HPC), Quantum Computing, Internet of Things (IoT), Cyber Security, Software Technologies, e-Governance, Smart Cities, and other emerging digital technologies. The collaboration will also focus on conducting Faculty Development Programmes (FDP), curriculum development, Certification training programs for students, workshops, and knowledge sharing initiatives.

The MoU was signed at the RKGIT campus by Shri. Jitendra Singh, Scientist G & Centre Head, C-DAC Delhi, and Prof. Dr. B. C. Sharma, Director, RKGIT, Ghaziabad. The signing ceremony was attended by Shri. Arvind Kumar, Senior Advisor, C-DAC; Shri. Apoorva Kohli, Scientist E - ACTS, C-DAC Delhi, Ms. Richa Chaudhary, Faculty & Course Counsellor, ACTS, C-DAC Delhi &Dr. Shoyab Ali, Sr. Project Engineer – ACTS, C-DAC Delhi. From RKGIT Ghaziabad, Dr. Laxman Prasad, Group Advisor; Dr. D.K. Chauhan, Executive Director; Dr. Ramendra Singh, Dean (IQAC); Dr. R.K. Yadav, Dean (Academics)& Dr Preeti Sharma, HoD - CSE Data Science were present.

This partnership marks a significant step towards fostering academic-industry collaboration and advancing technological excellence. It also aims to enhance industry-relevant skills among students and promote innovation-driven learning. Senior officials and faculty members from both institutions were present during the MoU signing ceremony, expressing confidence that this collaboration will significantly contribute to technological education, research excellence, and capacity building. The partnership is expected to contribute significantly to workforce readiness, innovation-driven growth, and the adoption of advanced technologies across emerging domains.
