C-DAC Patna earned a notable distinction at the IEEE BuildSEC'25 International Conference, jointly organised by IIT Patna and UNSW Sydney and co-hosted by C-DAC Patna, held at the Indian Institute of Technology Patna from December 1st–3th, 2025.

The research paper titled “Low-Level Implementation, Analysis and Key Recovery in TellYouThePass Ransomware,” authored by Dr. Kunal Abhishek, Scientist E, C-DAC Patna, and co-authored by Shri Prabhakar Mishra, Scientist B, C-DAC Patna, and Shri Manuj Aggarwal, Scientist D, MeitY, has been conferred the Second-Best Paper Award at the IEEE BuildSEC'25 International Conference.

This recognition highlights the growing research leadership of C-DAC Patna in the field of advanced cyber security & forensics and ransomware countermeasures. It also reflects the centre's commitment to supporting national cybersecurity initiatives through cutting-edge research, capacity building, and indigenous technology development.
