Unveiling of Indigenous Solutions and Signing of Key MoUs

On the occasion of the 39th Foundation Day of C-DAC, C-DAC Patna marked a significant milestone through a combination of technological innovation and strategic collaboration, reinforcing its commitment to advancing secure and future-ready digital ecosystems.

C-DAC Patna launched of two advanced indigenous solutions — the Industrial Automation System using Vision AI and Lakshman (Strategic PKI).

The products were formally launched by distinguished dignitaries, Dr. S. Somnath, Former Chairman, ISRO, Shri S. Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY; Ms. Sheena Rani R, Director General, MED, COS & CS, DRDO; Prof. Rajat Moona, Director, IIT Gandhinagar; Dr. Randhir Thakur, CEO & Managing Director, Tata Electronics Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru; Dr. D. Srinivasa Reddy, Director, CSIR – IICT, Hyderabad; Shri E. Magesh, DG, C-DAC and Shri Abhinav Dixit, Scientist G & Centre Head, C-DAC Patna.

The Industrial Automation System leverages Vision AI to enable intelligent monitoring in manufacturing environments, offering real-time production insights and AI-driven inventory management to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and operational visibility. Lakshman, built on C-DAC’s proprietary GHOST elliptic curves, is designed to facilitate secure, reliable, and policy-driven digital certificate-based communication, ensuring strong authentication, data integrity, and confidentiality for strategic and enterprise applications.

Further strengthening its collaborative ecosystem, C-DAC Patna formalized two key Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with IIT Patna and Bihar Mausam Seva Kendra (BMSK), Patna.

The partnership with IIT Patna aims to foster joint research, innovation, and skill development across emerging domains such as HPC, AI, Quantum Computing, and Cybersecurity, while also promoting internships and collaborative R&D initiatives. Simultaneously, the collaboration with BMSK focuses on enhancing weather analytics and forecasting capabilities through the integration of geospatial technologies and ICT solutions, enabling more accurate and localized weather insights for improved decision-making.

These initiatives were carried out in the presence of distinguished dignitaries from leading national institutions and organizations, reflecting a shared vision of leveraging technology, research, and collaboration to drive impactful outcomes.

Together, the product launches and MoUs underscore C-DAC Patna’s continued focus on strengthening cybersecurity, advancing smart manufacturing, and building strategic partnerships aligned with national priorities such as digital trust and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
