Project Review & Information Management Electronics (PRIME) System

PRIME is an end-to-end life cycle management system designed to streamline proposal submission and project management. Developed by C-DAC, it enhances MeitY’s project workflow by offering five key components: Proposal Submission Management, Scrutiny and Meeting Management, Recommendations and Approvals, Sanctions and Release, and Project Monitoring and Closure. PRIME enables real-time tracking through interactive analytical dashboards, simplifying project management and providing valuable insights to stakeholders. Launched on June 19, 2023, by Shri Alkesh Kumar Sharma, Secretary MeitY, the system strengthens information sharing, research ecosystem development, and ease of doing business, aligning with MeitY’s vision for sustained growth.

• Proposal Submission Management System: This system manages the various types of project submissions, from single to multi-institutional projects, encompassing CI management and institute management.
• Scrutiny and Meeting Management System: This system offers a plug and play workflow for the scrutiny process by managing meetings efficiently, ensuring smooth decision-making processes.
• Recommendations, Approvals, Sanctions, and Release Management System: This component automates the technical, administrative, and financial approval workflows, providing a comprehensive framework for project approval and financial management.
• Project Monitoring and Closure System: This allows seamless project monitoring and facilitates the smooth closure of projects.
• Analytical Dashboards: The system offers interactive dashboards that provide valuable insights and tracking capabilities for various stakeholders.
