Skill Sets |
- Knowledge of atmospheric/Ocean/Hydrology/Air Quality
- WRF and other regional atmospheric model/WRF-Hydro/ OpenFOAM/Numerical modeling and simulations.
- Shell scripting and meteorological data analysis tools (like GrADS, python, NCL, NCO, CDO etc).
- Handling of large volume of data and conversant with data format like NetCDF, HDF, GRIB2 etc
- Model Data visualization using Python/GRADS/NCL/IDL or any.
- Knowledge of UNIX/LINUX System
- Parallel computing and HPC
- Knowledge of atmospheric/Air Quality/CFD Modeling
- Experience in satellite data analysis relevant to air quality modelling
- Experience in Emission inventory and chemical speciation analysis
- Knowledge of GIS and spatial application skill

- Programming in Fortran/Python/Data Visualization. Use of GIS techniques for weather & climate data

- Design numerical experiments for chemical process studies
- Design and develop air quality modeling and management applications
