GeoSmart Infrastructure Excellence Award 2022 for GeoSadak (Online Geospatial Transaction System)

GeoSadak, developed by ESEG, C-DAC Pune, received Geospatial Excellence Award in the GeoSmart Infra 2022 conference held on September 5 & 6, 2022 at Holiday Inn, Aerocity, New Delhi. The conference was inaugurated by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India and award was presented by Gen. (Dr) Vijay Kumar Singh PVSM, AVSM, VSM (RETD), Hon’ble Minister of State, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. Officials from C-DAC and NRIDA, Ministry of Rural Development were present in the award ceremony.

GeoSadak, an Online Geospatial Transaction System developed for PMGSY National GIS, is powered by the GeoSevak framework of C-DAC. Implemented at the national level for PMGSY, GeoSadak has modules such as online editing, proposal creation and sanctioning, visualization, state/national report generation, data services, data upload/download, trace map and Web API. All the road and bridge proposals for PMGSY are being prepared and approved through GeoSadak. More than 13,000 proposals have been created and approved by NRIDA. Currently, more than 1000 active users from block to State level officers, NRIDA/MoRD and Technical agencies are utilizing the system for PMGSY National GIS activities like data collection, updating and decision-making processes.
