  • Fine tuning of MQTT client API’s to current versions.
  • Addition/Customisation of Database (Oracle) layer of the application.
  • Architectural changes of the application as per requirement.
  • Coordination with client for day to day project development task as per plan.
Consolidated Salary (Pay Range) Rs. (31000-135000)
Annual CTC at the minimum of the salary range will be maximum of Rs 4.40 Lacs approx for initial consolidated salary of Rs 31000/-.
Since the minimum 3 years (acquired after the date of the qualifying qualification) relevant experience is required for this position, higher starting salary may be considered as per norms of C-DAC. However, higher salary to be considered for possessing relevant post qualification experience is subject to the restriction of maximum number of years advertised (05 years in this case).
The decision of C-DAC in this regard will be final and binding. The period of experience rendered by candidate as Intern, trainee, research fellow, part time basis, visiting/guest faculty will not be counted.

General Terms & Conditions

The positions are purely on contract basis on consolidated emoluments, initially for a period of 1 year or up to the duration of project whichever is less. However, the tenure of service may be considered for fresh contracts based on requirement of the Project and performance of the incumbents. C-DAC reserves the right to terminate the contract even during the agreed contract period or without assigning any reason or by giving 30 days prior notice or salary in lieu thereof.

The positions are time bound, co-terminus with the Project and are purely contractual in nature for specified duration. The candidates engaged under this shall be on contract and shall not derive any right or claim to have a regular or any other post/ appointment in C-DAC.

1. Qualification:

  1. All the qualifying qualifications should be regular course(s) from AICTE/UGC approved/recognized University/Deemed University/Institutes. The courses offered by autonomous institutions should be recognized as equivalent to the relevant courses approved/recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/UGC/AICTE. And for such autonomous institute’s course (s) submission of equivalency certificate is mandatory at the time of interview.
  2. Wherever CGPA/OGPA or letter (A, A +) grade in a qualifying degree is awarded, equivalent percentage of marks should be indicated in the application form as per norms adopted by the respective University/Institute. Please also obtain a certificate to this effect from University / Institute, which shall be required at the time of interview.

2. Experience:

  • Only those experiences which are relevant and acquired after the passing date of the qualifying qualification will be considered. The decision of C-DAC in this regard will be final and binding to applicants.
  • Years of experience, over and above the maximum range notified in the advertisement, will not be considered for calculating higher pay.
  • The period of experience rendered by candidate as Intern, trainee, research fellow, part time basis, visiting/guest faculty will not be counted.

3. Relaxation/ Age Limit:

  • Age Relaxations applicable as per the Govt. of India norms notwithstanding anything contained in this notification.
  • The upper age is relaxed by 05 years for SC/ST category candidates, 03 years for OBC (NCL) category candidates. It is also relaxed by 10 years for PWD-General category candidates, 13 years for PWD-OBC (NCL) category candidates and 15 years for PWD-SC/ST category candidates. The above relaxation in upper age limit is applicable only in respect of posts which are reserved for SC/ST/OBC (NCL) category candidates.
  • Relaxation in age limit shall be applicable for PWD category candidates irrespective of the fact whether the post is reserved or not, provided the post is identified suitable for concerned PWD category candidates.
  • Government employees and C-DAC employees will be eligible for relaxation in age by 05 years.
  • In case of Ex-servicemen who have put in not less than six months continuous service in the Armed Forces of the Union, they shall be allowed to deduct the period of such service from their actual age, and if the resultant age does not exceed by more than 03 years the maximum age limit prescribed for the posts/ services for which a candidate seeks appointment, he/ she be deemed to satisfy the conditions regarding the age limit.
  • The cut-off date for ascertaining the age and experience will be the last date of online application.(i.e. June 26, 2021)

4. Mode of Selection:

  1. The qualification and experience prescribed, are the minimum requirements and possession of the same does not automatically make the candidates entitled to be called for written test and / or other selection processes.
  2. The initial screening will be based on the parametres like academic records, experience and any other relevant parameters or based on combination of relevant factors including those stated. Only those screened-in candidates will be considered for further selection process.
  3. In the event of the number of applicants is large (vacancy to application ratio of more than 1:10), for any position(s), it may not be convenient or possible for CDAC to call all the candidates to participate in selection process. CDAC may then restrict the number of candidates to be called to participate in interview/selection process to a reasonable limit by applying enhanced standards than those advertised.
  4. Even after applying enhanced standrards, if the number of candidates is large, there may be written test / any other selection process to further screen candidates, as deemed fit by the management of C-DAC. Whether performance in this selection process(es) will have weightage in the final selection shall be intimated in writing to concerned candidates.
  5. C-DAC reserves the right to change/modify the selection process at any time, during the process. The decision of the management will be final and binding.

5. Application fees:

  1. No fees shall be payable by candidates.

6. How to apply:

  1. Before filling the online application form, Candidates should read the terms and conditions carefully.
  2. Candidate should read all the eligibility parameters and ensure that he/she is eligible for the post before starting to apply online.
  3. Candidate should have a valid email id and mobile no. which should remain valid & active till the completion of the recruitment process.
  4. Candidates can click on the ‘Apply’ button provided against each position for which he/she wishes to apply.
  5. Fill all the details in the application form at the appropriate places.
  6. After filling all the details in online application form click on ‘Submit’ button.
  7. Candidates should scan their photograph in .jpg format (not more than 300 KB) and keep it ready before starting to apply online for uploading.
  8. A unique application number will be generated by the system, please note this application number for future reference and use. Candidates can take a print of the application form and keep it with them for their own records and you should submit signed application at the time of written test/Interview.
  9. No hard copy/ printed applications should be sent to C-DAC.
  10. It is the responsibility of the candidates to assess his/her own eligibility for the post for which he/she is applying in accordance with the advertisement. In case, it is found at any point of time in future during process of selection or even after appointment that the candidate was not eligible as per prescribed qualification, experience etc., which could not be found at the time of selection due to whatever circumstances, his/her candidature/appointment shall be liable to be cancelled/ terminated as the case may be without giving any notice and without prejudice to the rights of C-DAC to take appropriate legal action.
  11. Candidate working in Government of India/ State Government (Department/ Undertaking/ PSUs/ Autonomous bodies) may also apply online in advance and print of the application form, duly filled, and signed should be forward through proper channel to Manager (Admin), C-DAC Kolkata.
  12. Those who are not forwarding their application through proper channel are required to produce 'No objection certificate (NOC)' from their current employer at the time of interview, if called for, failing which they will not be permitted to attend the interview.

7. Reservation:

  1. Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc will be applicable as per the Govt. of India norms, as applicable to C-DAC. Please note that out of the posts mentioned below 1 post is reserved for PWD candidates.

Candidate belonging to reserved categories should produce the relevant certificate(s) at the time of written test / skill test / interview etc as may be advised by C-DAC at later stage of recruitment. The certificates so produced are required to be issued by competent authorities in the prescribed format as stipulated by Government of India, failing which candidates will not be allowed to attend the interview / selection process against reserved posts and will not be allowed to claim the relaxations applicable in case of reservation.
  5. In case of candidates belonging to OBC category, certificate should specifically contain the clause that the candidate does not belong to creamy layer section.
  6. If any time limit has been prescribed for validity of any caste certificate/disability certificate/EWS certificate by the Government of India, the submitted certificate should be within such stipulation/prescribed period. Otherwise it will not be accepted.

8. Important Notes:

  1. Candidates those who are applying for multiple posts should submit separate applications for each post
  2. In case of ambiguity/dispute arises on account of interpretation in version other than English, English version will prevail.
  3. Apart from consolidated salary, PF, ESI, as applicable, Leave, Medical Reimbursement etc are payable to the project based employees on consolidated salary as per norms of C-DAC applicable from time to time.
  4. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification for selection.
  5. Candidates are not required to send printout of application or any other documents in hard copy to C-DAC.
  6. Interview Call Letters, other correspondences (if any) etc. will be sent to candidates only through email to the email id provided in their online application. No hard copy will be sent.
  7. Mere issue of Interview call letter / other documents to candidate will not imply acceptance of candidature or selection for the post.
  8. In case of internal candidates, please note that the service continuity and other related matters will be subject to guidelines/norms/rules in force from time to time.
