As Rabindranath Tagore beautifully said, "The city of Kolkata is not just a city, but an emotion." Kolkata, once known as Calcutta, is a city rich in history, culture, and intellectual vitality, making it the perfect setting for our symposium. Located on the eastern bank of the Hooghly River, it was once the capital of British India and continues to be a prominent cultural and economic center.
Kolkata is home to some of India's most esteemed academic and research institutions, including the Indian Statistical Institute, Jadavpur University, and the University of Calcutta, all of which have produced countless distinguished scholars and scientists. The city's literary legacy, vibrant arts scene, and grand colonial architecture showcase a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, fostering an environment that sparks creativity and innovation. Hosting a symposium in Kolkata presents a unique opportunity to engage with a community that values intellectual exploration and cultural depth.
We warmly invite you to immerse yourself in the intellectually stimulating atmosphere of Kolkata, where history and modernity come together to create the ideal setting for scientific dialogue and discovery.
