C-DAC Delhi successfully completed Certificate Course in Brain Behavioural & Cognitive Neuroscience (CCBBCN) under ITEC Scheme of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India for fifteen participants from Mauritius, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Belarus, Russia, Tajikistan, Palestine, Ghana, Liberia, Eritrea, Zambia, Vietnam, Chile & Ecuador on March21st, 2025.
The course of 80 hours delivered over a period of two weeks/ten days started on March10th, 2025 at C-DAC Delhi. The course saw diverse and active participation of participants hailing from different Government Departments and Ministries from these countries.
A Valedictory Ceremony was held at C-DAC, New Delhi on March 21st, 2025 to acknowledge and celebrate the hard work and dedication of participants, faculty, and staff.
The ceremony commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting and welcome address by Shri. Abhinav Dixit, Scientist G&HoD - ICD & ACTS; Dr. Priyanka Jain, Scientist F & HoD - Neurocognitive AI & XR Group; Shri. Vijay Kumar Kayat, Scientist E - ICD & ITEC Coordinator and Course Faculty, C-DAC Delhi. Shri. Vijay Kayat delivered the welcome address, and Dr. Priyanka Jain subsequently provided opening remarks, emphasizing the critical role of Artificial Intelligence and presenting an introduction to the course module.
Following the opening remarks, Shri. Abhinav Dixit presented on ITEC and C-DAC's global footprint. In his valedictory speech, he emphasized the ITEC schemeof Ministry of External Affairs under developmental assistanceand its importance, shared his experience in international collaboration, and urged participants to promote C-DAC's ITEC courses. He concluded by applauding the faculty and organizing team.During the Valedictory Ceremony, participants enthusiastically shared their experiences, from learning AI and neuroscience to enjoying Indian culture, food, and tours. They expressed satisfaction and interest in future C-DAC courses.
Course faculty Dr. Animesh Halder, Dr. Geetanjali Srivastava, Shri. Kartike Pushkarna and Shri. Harsh Koria shared their wonderful experience and feedback about the participants. Shri. Prashant Kumar presented "Memoirs," a short film capturing the cherished moments and experiences of participants during their time at C-DAC New Delhi and in India.
The ceremony culminated with Shri. Abhinav Dixit and Dr. Priyanka Jain presenting Course Completion Certificates and mementos to all participants.
