A one-day workshop on 'Digital Governance Solutions & Services with Emerging Technologies' was organized by C-DAC Mumbai for the benefit of Chhattisgarh government departments at the Hyatt Hotel in Raipur on November 25th, 2024.

The workshop was honored by the esteemed presence of Ms. Niharika Barik IAS, Principal Secretary of the Department of Electronics and IT, as the chief guest.She conveyed her hope that the workshop would prove beneficial to Chhattisgarh government officials by enhancing their knowledge of digital governance solutions and their practical applications.The event was also graced by senior officials Shri Prabhat Malik IAS, CEO of CHIPS, Shri Anand Mahalwar, Vice Chancellor ISBM University, Shri Kumar Biswaranjan, COO CHIPS, Smt. SatovishaSamajdar IFS, Conservator of Forests (FMIS Division), as the guests of honour.

The workshop was attended by over 120+ participants from various government departments of Chhattisgarh such as Social Welfare, Forests, Agriculture, Women & Child, Horticulture, Science & Technology, Police, Food &Civil Supplies, Education, Housing Development, etc.

Dr. Padmaja Joshi, Scientist G, C-DAC Mumbai, presented an overview of the diverse range of products and solutions covered in the workshop, and also provided a concise introduction to C-DAC's research and development activities.Officials from C-DAC Mumbai presented its solutions and services including Blockchain, SATYA-Accessibility Testing Tool, AI-basedAttendance System,etc.

The workshop proved to be an interactive and informative event, providing participants with a deeper understanding of C-DAC Mumbai's contributions to the fields of emerging technologies and digital governance. The event received widespread media coverage, both in print and online.
