C-DAC Delhi Celebrates Successful Completion of Responsible AI Course

C-DAC Delhi successfully completed Certificate Course in Responsible AI (CCRAI) under ITEC scheme of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India for fifteen participants from Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Bhutan, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Mauritius, Tanzania, Costa Rica, Nigeria, Oman, Fiji, Palestine, Kenya, Somalia and Turkmenistan on February21st, 2025.

The course of 80 hours delivered over a period of two weeks/ten days commenced on February 10th, 2025. The course saw diverse and active participation of participants hailing from different Government Departments & Ministries from these countries.

To mark the end of the course and celebrate the hard work of participants, faculty& other staff, an officialValedictoryCeremony was held on February21st, 2025at C-DAC, New Delhi.

The ceremony started withthe welcome and lighting of lamp by Shri. Abhinav Dixit, Sc 'G'& HoD - ICD & ACTS; Dr. Priyanka Jain, Sc 'F' & HoD - Neurocognitive AI & XR Group; Shri. Vijay Kumar Kayat, Sc 'E' - ICD & ITEC Coordinator and Course Faculty, C-DAC Delhi. Shri. Vijay Kayatgave the welcome address followed by opening remarks by Dr. Priyanka Jain highlighting the importance of Artificial Intelligence and gave introduction to course module.

Shri. Abhinav Dixit delivered the valedictory address, which included a presentation on the ITEC programme, C-DAC, and its global presence. He emphasized the significance of the Ministry of External Affairs' ITEC scheme for developmental assistance, sharing his experiences in international collaboration encompassing policy, technology, service delivery, capacity building, project management, and administration. He encouraged participants to promote C-DAC's ITEC courses to their networks and commended the faculty for the course's comprehensive design and the organizing team at C-DAC Delhi for their efforts.

The Valedictory Ceremony saw participants enthusiastically sharing their positive experiences, highlighting their newly acquired skills in Cyber Security & Cyber Forensics, their appreciation for Indian culture and the Delhi & Agra heritage tour, as well as the excellent hospitality and food. They expressed profound satisfaction and a strong desire to attend future C-DAC courses in India.

Chandan Sarkar shared their wonderful experience and feedback about the participants. Shri. Prashant Kumar showed a short film (Memoirs) showcasing beautiful moments spent by participants during their stay in C-DAC New Delhi & India.
