C-DAC Pune Galvanises Future Digital Leaders with National Internet Governance Workshop

C-DAC, Pune organized a workshop on National Internet Governance for college students to empower future leaders in the digital space on February 13th, 2025. The event witnessed participation from students and faculty members of various institutes and colleges in and around Pune.

Shri. Chandrakant Dhutamal, Scientist E, introduced the activities of C-DAC and engaged students with a quiz competition, followed by the distribution of prizes. Shri. Nitin Pawar, Scientist E, coordinated the workshop and provided insights into C-DAC's education and training initiatives.

Expert sessions on Internet Governance were conducted by Shri. Aditya Dubey, Policy Analyst, and Shri. Ritesh Srivastava, Technical Analyst, from C-DAC's e-Governance Solutions team in New Delhi. Additionally, Ms. Neha Gupta, Scientist E, presented on Internationalized Domain Names and Universal Acceptance, while Shri. VainateyaKoratkar, Scientist E, highlighted the importance of localizing websites in Indian languages.

The workshop served as an interactive platform for students to deepen their understanding of Internet governance, digital inclusivity, and multilingual web accessibility.
