Induction Ceremony for CCQC

C-DAC, Delhi started Certificate Course in Quantum Computing (CCQC) under ITEC Scheme of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India for a duration of two weeks for fifteen participants from South Sudan, Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea, Ghana, Malawi, Niger, Nigeria, Slovak Republic, Tunisia, Sri Lanka, Kazakhstan, Bhutan, Nepal, Mongolia, and Mexico on November 3rd 2025.

An Induction Ceremony at C-DAC Delhi marked the beginning of the course. The ceremony was attended by a diverse group of participants from various Government Departments and Ministries from the participating countries.

Ceremony commenced with the welcome address by Shri. Krishan Sharma, Project Engineer, NCAI&XR Group, C-DAC Delhi followed by lighting of lamp with Saraswathi Vandana by Shri. Abhinav Dixit, Scientist G & HoD - ICD and Centre Head, C-DAC Patna; Dr. Priyanka Jain, Scientist F& HoD, Neurocognitive AI & XR Group and Course Faculties at C-DAC Delhi.

Dr. Priyanka Jain provided an overview of the course, introduced the faculty members, and discussed the participants' expectations.Shri Abhinav Dixit delivered the opening address and presented on the ITEC Scheme and C-DAC. During his remarks, he highlighted the importance of the ITEC Scheme, a developmental assistance initiative of the Ministry of External Affairs. He encouraged participants to act as good will ambassadors for India and to promote the ITEC-sponsored courses offered in India among their colleagues, friends, and family.Ms. Richa Choudhary, Course Counsellor and Faculty at ACTS, C-DAC Delhi, introduced the course faculty members.

During their introductions, the participants expressed their gratitude to the Indian Missions and the Ministry of External Affairs for the opportunity to attend the ITEC course, and to C-DAC Delhi for designing a comprehensive, well-structured, and content-rich programme. They also shared their expectations of acquiring new skills in Quantum Computing through the course.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of training kits to all participants by Shri Abhinav Dixit and Dr. Priyanka Jain, followed by a group photograph.
