Induction Ceremony forCertificate Course in Brain Behavioural & Cognitive Neuroscience

C-DAC Delhi has commenced a two-week Certificate Course on Brain Behavioural & Cognitive Neuroscience (CCBBCN), funded by the ITEC schemeof Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The programme features fifteen participants from countries including Mauritius, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Belarus, Russia, Tajikistan, Palestine, Ghana, Liberia, Eritrea, Zambia, Vietnam, Chile & Ecuador offering specialized education in the fieldon February 10th, 2025.

An Induction Ceremony marked the official commencement of the CCBBCN course at C-DAC Delhi on March 10th, 2025. The event featured enthusiastic participation from officials representing various government departments and ministries across the participating nations.

The ceremony began with a welcome address by Shri. Vijay Kumar Kayat, Scientist E - ICD & ITEC Coordinator followed by lighting of lamp with Saraswathi Vandana by Shri. Abhinav Dixit, Scientist G &HoD - ICD & ACTS, Shri. Vijay Kumar Kayat and Course Faculty; Dr. Animesh Halder, Dr. Geetanjali Srivastava, Shri.Kartike Pushkarna and Shri.Harsh Koria from Neurocognitive AI & XR Group of C-DAC Delhi.

Thereafter Shri. Abhinav Dixit sharedhis opening remarks followed by presentation on ITEC and C-DAC. He highlighted the importance of ITEC scheme of Ministry of External Affairs under developmental assistance and urged participants to be the goodwill ambassadors of India and to propagate course being offered by C-DAC under ITEC in India to their colleagues, friends and relatives.

Following introductions of the C-DAC Delhi faculty, participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the Indian Mission, the Ministry of External Affairs, and C-DAC Delhi. They acknowledged the ITEC invitation and the course's comprehensive design, while also sharing their anticipation for learning AI-driven brain behaviour analysis.

Shri. Dixit and Shri. Vijay Kumar Kayat presented training kits to the participants, followed by a group photo, concluding the ceremony.
