C-DAC Delhi commenced a Certificate Course in Responsible AI (CCRAI)under ITEC Scheme of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India for a duration of two weeks for fifteen participants from Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Bhutan, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Mauritius, Tanzania, Costa Rica, Nigeria, Oman, Fiji, Palestine, Kenya, Somalia and Turkmenistan on February10th, 2025.
An Induction Ceremony was held at C-DAC Delhi on February 10th, 2025 to mark the start of the course. Participants from various Government Departments and Ministries across these countries actively participated in the ceremony.Ceremony began with awelcome address by Shri. Vijay Kumar Kayat, Scientist E - ICD & ITEC Coordinator followed by lighting of lamp with Saraswathi Vandana by Shri. Naveen Kumar Jain, Scientist G & Centre Head; Shri. Abhinav Dixit, Scientist G & HoD - ICD & ACTS and Shri. Vijay Kumar Kayat from C-DAC Delhi. Shri. Naveen Kumar Jain then gave his opening remarks, followed by a presentation on ITEC and C-DAC by Shri. Abhinav Dixit.
Shri. Rajesh Kumar Tripathi, Director (HRD), C-DAC graced the ceremony as special invitee and during his induction address highlighted the importance of ITEC scheme of Ministry of External Affairs under developmental assistance. He urged participants to be the goodwill ambassadors(s) of India and to propagate course being offered by C-DAC under ITEC in India to their colleagues, friends & relatives.
The course faculty-Shri. Tanmay Jain, Shri. Kartike Pushkarna, Shri. Krishan Sharma, Ms. Saumya Kushwaha, Shri. Aaksh Deep, and Shri. Chandan Sarkar from C-DAC Delhi-were introduced to the participants. During their introductions, the participants expressed gratitude to the Indian Missions, the Ministry of External Affairs, and the Government of India for the ITEC course invitation, and to C-DAC Delhi for developing such a comprehensive and enriching curriculum. They also shared their expectations of gaining new skills in Artificial Intelligence throughout the course.
The ceremony was concluded by presentation of training kits toall the participants by Shri. Rajesh Kumar Tripathi, Shri. Naveen Kumar Jain and Shri. Vijay Kumar Kayat with a group photo.
