The HPC-Medical and Bioinformatics Applications (HPC-M&BA) Group, C-DAC Pune, successfully conducted a workshop on ICECloud - Integrated Computing Environment for Life Sciences (https://icecloud.in) at the National Institute of Immunology (NII), New Delhi, on August 25th, 2025.

The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Debasisa Mohanty, Director of NII, and highlighted the advanced capabilities of ICECloud - a cloud-based platform providing seamless access to a comprehensive suite of genome analysis and drug discovery tools.

More than 35 Ph.D. scholars and researchers from leading institutes, including NII, International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), and National Institute of Plant Genome Research (NIPGR), actively participated in the workshop. The interactive sessions enabled participants to explore cutting-edge computational tools for life sciences research.

The event underscored the role of supercomputing and cloud platforms in accelerating biological research and fostering innovation in genomics and drug discovery.
