As a significant step towards achieving ISO/IEC 27001:2022 compliance for its Information Security Management System (ISMS), C-DAC Pune successfully carried out an internal audit from June 3rd to 6th, 2025. This audit was a crucial, independent review designed to assess and enhance the effectiveness of C-DAC's existing processes, controls, and overall adherence to the standard.The audit involved approximately 40 participants with diverse roles and responsibilities, such as Lead Auditors, Auditors, Auditees, Observers, and Technical Experts.

The audit aimed to:
• Evaluate the effectiveness of ISMS controls
• Ensure alignment with information security requirements
• Promote risk management and continual improvement
• Prepare the organization for the upcoming external ISMS Audit and certification

Shri. Sanjay Wandhekar, Centre Head, presented the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Lead Auditor certificates to the successful candidates. He congratulated the participants and commended the collaborative efforts of everyone involved in the Internal Audit.

This is a major stride toward building a secure, compliant, and resilient information security environment at the center.
