Vietnamese Delegates Graduate from C-DAC Pune & Delhi MEA-Funded Advanced IT Training Programme

Five Vietnamese participants completed the Post Graduate Diploma programme under the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA)funded project, "Setting up Sustainable IT Infrastructure for Advanced IT Training using Conventional and Virtual Classrooms under e-Learning Technologies in the Association of South-East Asian Nations (ASEAN)." This project was jointly conducted by C-DAC's Pune and Delhi centers.

The participants were enrolled in the following post-graduate diploma programmes:

Participants spent the entire six-month course duration in India and fulfilled all requirements for the C-DAC ACTS PG Diploma.

A valedictory function was held on February 11, 2025, to celebrate the participants' achievements and project milestone. Shri Gaur Sunder, Scientist F &HoD - ACTS, presided over the event. Dr. Manoj Khare, Scientist G & Head of Department - HPC-ESEG, was the Chief Guest. Smt. Risha P. R., Associate Director, and senior staff members from ACTS, C-DAC Pune, involved in the course and project, were also in attendance.

Shri Gaur Sunder welcomed the participants and gave an overview of the training programme and its successful completion. A short documentary showcasing C-DAC, Delhi's International Cooperation initiatives was then screened. The graduates shared their enriching learning experiences, the insights they gained during their PG Diploma programmes, and their enriching experiences with Indian culture, food, and people.

Dr. Manoj Khare awarded the participants with their Diploma Certificates and commemorative mementos. In his valedictory address, he commended the participants for their dedication and achievements. He also highlighted the role played by MEA in fostering and funding people-to-people contact training programmes that create a lasting impact on participants as well as promote the friendship and cooperation between India and friendly countries.

As part of the cultural exchange and to offer a glimpse of local heritage, the participants took part in a sightseeing tour on January 30, 2025 to Meher Retreat at Khutbav, Maharashtra. The participants thoroughly enjoyed exploring Matoba Lake, the free-flowing stream, and the panoramic natural beauty of the lush green landscape. They also experienced the charm of rural life and appreciated the region's serene environment, making the visit a memorable one.

Shri Nitin Pawar delivered the Vote of Thanks, concluding the programme and celebrating the successful training and fostered international collaboration in advanced IT education.
