Janakeeya Arogya Kendra (JAK) Mobile App

Thiruvananthapuram

The Janakeeya Arogya Kendra (JAK) mobile application, developed by C-DAC Thiruvananthapuram in collaboration with the State Digital Health Mission (SDHM) (formerly eHealth Kerala), Government of Kerala, was officially launched by the Honorable Health Minister of Kerala in a function organized by the State Health Department for statewide rollout.

The JAK mobile app serves as a comprehensive digital platform for Junior Public Health Nurses (JPHN), Junior Health Inspectors (JHI), and Mid-Level Service Providers (MLSP) to create and maintain individual health profiles for citizens across the state. It facilitates public health surveys, Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) monitoring, and enables real-time healthcare data access and monitoring by higher health authorities for effective planning and decision-making.

The JAK app currently manages health records for around 2.5 crore citizens and is envisioned to extend its coverage to the entire state population of 3.5 crore. A successful pilot run was conducted across 55Janakeeya Arogya Kendras (JAKs), covering 12 Family Health Centres (FHCs) in various districts of Kerala.

The app was published on the Google Play Store in June 2025, with the iOS version currently under publication.
