C-DAC, with financial assistance from the Indian government, signed an agreement with the Ministry of External Affairs on March 4th, 2025, to extend the India-Myanmar Centre for Enhancement of IT Skills' accreditation as an International Authorised Training Centre (iATC).Agreement was signed by Shri. Rohit Rathish (IFS), Joint Secretary (DPA III) from MEA and Shri. Abhinav Dixit, Scientist G & HOD - ICD on be-half C-DAC in the presence of Shri. Magesh E, Director General, C-DAC. Also present in the ceremony were Shri. Pramod PJ, Head - Corporate R&D, C-DAC, Shri. Prasad W, OSD to DG, C-DAC & Shri. Vijay Kayat, Scientist E - ICD from C-DAC, Delhi along with Shri. Mohd. Tauseef Hussain, Under Secretary (DPA III) from MEA.
India - Myanmar Centre for Enhancement of IT Skills (IMCEITS) at Yangon was set-up by C-DAC, Delhi with the financial assistance from Government of India in 2008.
Thereafter, in last three phases from 2013 till 2024, C-DAC Delhi along with ACTS, C-DAC Pune has strengthened IMCEITS by accrediting as its iATC thrice and upgradation of hardware, software, supply of course material, C-DAC e-learning & LMS with content.
In the current phase of accreditation, C-DAC will design and deliver Professional Diploma & Professional Certificate courses at IMCEITS through the master trainers to be trained in India under project. In addition,one week Faculty Development Program (FDP), preparation andmanagement of examinations, certification to the students passing out of IMCEITS during the period of accreditation will also be done by C-DAC.
