C-DAC & C-METare engaged in various projects of national importance and a large amount of public funds is involved in projects of such magnitude. These projects also involve substantial amount of procurement which require strict compliance to the several rules and regulations issued by the Government of India from time to time.

It is in view of the above that Corporate Legal found it imperative to conduct a "Training Session on the Various Aspects of Procurement" involving its key legal, finance and purchase teams across the 12 centres of C-DAC& 3 Labs of C-MET who are dealing with such procurement activities.For the first time, such a joint exercise has taken place,with the approval of DG, C-DAC and C-MET.

A two-day training session involving around 60 people was successfully conducted at Kovalam with the support of C-DAC, Thiruvananthapuram.
