C-DAC Delhi successfully completed Certificate Course in Fundamentals of Cyber Security & Cyber Forensics (CCFCS&CF)in French language under ITEC Scheme of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India for a duration of twoweeks for thirteen participants from Niger, Ethiopia, Fiji, Botswana, Cote D Ivoire, Cameroon, Congo, Senegal, Chad, Morocco, Uganda, Bhutan & Burkina Faso which started on January27th, 2025.
A valedictory ceremony was held on February 7th, 2025, to celebrate the successful completion of the course and recognize the efforts of participants, faculty, and staff. The event began with a welcome address and the lighting of a ceremonial lampby Shri. Abhinav Dixit, Sc 'G'& HoD - ICD & ACTS; Shri. Vijay Kumar Kayat, Sc 'E', ICD and Shri. Jaibheem&Shri. Prashant Kumar, Course Faculty, C-DAC Delhi. Ms. Richa Choudhary, Course Counsellor & Facultygave the welcome address.Thereafter valedictory speech and presentation on ITEC, C-DAC &itsglobal footprintwas given by Shri. Abhinav Dixit.
Shri. Abhinav Dixit during his valedictory speech highlighted the importance of ITEC scheme of Ministry of External Affairs under developmental assistance. He gave an insight on his experience of policy formulation, technology deployment, service delivery, capacity building, project management and administration in international collaboration. He urged participants to be the goodwill ambassadors of C-DAC to propagate course being offered under ITEC in India to their colleagues, friends and relatives. He praised the faculty for developing such a thorough, well-structured, and enriching course curriculum, and also expressed his appreciation for the C-DAC Delhi organizing team.
At the valedictory ceremony, participants shared positive feedback about their experience, highlighting the new cybersecurity and cyber forensics skills they acquired, the cultural insights gained through tours of Delhi and Agra, the hospitality they received, and the Indian cuisine they enjoyed. They expressed high satisfaction and a desire to attend future C-DAC courses in India.Course faculty Shri. JaibheemandShri. Prashant Kumar presented a short film, "Memoirs," which captured the participants' memorable experiences during their time at C-DAC New Delhi and in India.
