C-DAC Hyderabad conducted an online workshop on "Applying AI in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)" for the students of the August 2024 batch of PG Di-ploma courses. The workshop, held on January 28th and 29th, 2025, was attended by students from all C-DAC centers and C-DAC's Authorized Training Centers (ATCs).

The event was jointly organized by the AI teams from C-DAC Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Pune centres. Dr. Lakshmi Eswari P R, Scientist G & Centre Head, C-DAC Hyderabad, delivered the opening remarks, followed by sessions from Shri. Ramesh Naidu, Scientist F at C-DAC Bengaluru, Shri. Mahesh U Patil, Scientist F at C-DAC Hyderabad, and other team members from the Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Pune centers.

The workshop covered a wide range of topics, including the application of AI tools across various SDLC phases, Prompt Engineering, Requirement Analysis and Design, AI-Powered Prototyping, Assisted Coding, AI for Automated Testing, and a case study encompassing all SDLC phases. Other key areas included AI-assisted Documentation, Debugging and Code Security, Performance Optimization, AI in Deployment and CI/CD pipelines, and the ethical use of AI.
