Drones are the buzz-word these days, they are revolutionizing industries globally, from precisionagriculture and disaster response to infrastructure inspections. Recognizing the urgent need to cultivate skilled professionals in this domain, the C-DAC, Patna has achieved a significant milestone in capacity building by organizing two intensive bootcamps on drone and allied technologies under the project �Capacity Building for Human Resource Development in Unmanned Aircraft System (SwaYaan)� at following institutions:

• Government Engineering College (GEC), Buxar, Bihar (September 23�28, 2024)
• Government Engineering College (GEC), Sheikhpura, Bihar (November 25�30, 2024)

These six-day, 40-hour programmes offered 125+ students hands-on training in cutting-edge drone technologies. Participants delved into crucial areas such as � Aerodynamics, Drone assembly and piloting, programming and sensors, AI applications in drones, payload management, mission planning. Sessions were led by experts from C-DAC Patna and industry professionals, who combined theoretical insights with real-world applications.This unique blend provided students with a robust foundation in the rapidly advancing field of unmanned aerial systems.

Last day of bootcamps had an idea presentation session, where participants showcased innovative solutions to real-world challenges. These projects underscored the transformative potential of drone technology and highlighted the students' ability to apply their knowledge to societal needs.The success of these bootcamps demonstrates C-DAC Patna's commitment to preparing skilled professionals equipped to meet the growing demands of drone technology. Graduates from these programmes are now poised to contribute meaningfully to industries and drive technological innovation.
