C-DAC Delhi successfully concluded its Certificate Course in Foundations of Cyber Security & Cyber Forensics (CCFCS&CF). This 80-hour programme, held from May 14th to May 27th, 2025, trained fifteen participants from Maldives, Tanzania, Bhutan, Paraguay, Solomon Islands, Zambia, Seychelles, Ethiopia, Kenya, Kazakhstan, South Sudan, Ghana, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, and Somalia, all under the Ministry of External Affair's Indian Technical & Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Scheme.
The programme commenced with an induction ceremony on May 14th, 2025, at C-DAC Delhi. The event saw active participation from representatives across various Government Departments and Ministries of the participating countries. Shri. Abhinav Dixit, Scientist G &HoD - ICD & ACTS, C-DAC Delhi, presided over the ceremony, with Shri. Vijay Kumar Kayat, Scientist E & ITEC Coordinator, and other senior C-DAC Delhi officials also in attendance.
A Valedictory Ceremony was held on May 27th, 2025, at C-DAC, New Delhi, to celebrate the successful completion of the course and acknowledge the hard work of participants, faculty, and staff.
The proceedings began with the auspicious lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana. Then, Shri. Dixit, gave the welcome address, followed by an insightful presentation on ITEC, C-DAC, and its worldwide reach.In his welcome address, Shri. Abhinav Dixit emphasized the significance of the MEA's ITEC Scheme in developmental assistance. Drawing from his extensive experience in international collaboration, he offered insights into policy formulation, technology deployment, capacity building, and project management. He encouraged participants to become goodwill ambassadors for C-DAC, promoting ITEC courses in India to their networks. Shri. Dixit also commended the faculty for the course's comprehensive and rich content, and appreciated the C-DAC Delhi organizing team.
Course faculty, Shri. Jaibheem and Shri. Prashant Kumar, shared positive experiences and feedback regarding the participants. Shri. Kumar also presented a short film, "Memoirs," capturing memorable moments from the participants' time in C-DAC New Delhi and India.
During the Valedictory Ceremony, participants enthusiastically shared their positive experiences, highlighting not only the valuable skills gained in Cyber Security & Cyber Forensics but also their appreciation for Indian culture, the heritage tours to Delhi and Agra, and the warm hospitality and delicious food. They expressed strong satisfaction and a keen interest in attending more C-DAC courses in India. The tour of the PARAM Rudra facility and the immersive experience with PARAM Shavak AR & VR were particularly well-received and appreciated. The ceremony concluded with Shri. Abhinav Dixit and Shri. Jaibheem presenting Course Completion Certificates and mementos to all participants.
