Unified Health Interface now features blood bank discovery via e-RaktKosh

March 25, 2025

The Unified Health Interface (UHI) is a network of open protocols that enable the interoperability in health services. It is one of the foundational layers in the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) through which patients can discover, book, conduct and pay for health services from any application of their choice.

NHA has recently launched the blood bank discovery feature on the UHI. This allows patients to discover blood banks and check stock availability using C-DACs e-RaktKosh repository of 4000+ blood banks.

Through this integration, citizens across India can now efficiently discover nearby blood banks and access up-to-date blood availability details from both government and private institutions, facilitating timely access to vital information.
