C-DAC convocation held

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) organised a convocation ceremony for their trainees enrolled under the ‘free coaching and allied scheme’, sponsored by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, on Saturday. The training was conducted by the Advanced Computing Training School (ACTS) of C-DAC across India at 29 locations covering 17 states.
Chief guest V K Wadhawan, deputy secretary (finance), Ministry of Minority Affairs said, “The ministry is committed to uplift of minority communities through several initiatives that will see them play a larger role in the development of India. The current scheme was very well received by the student community, evident in the number of applications that we had received from across the country.” TNN
