MeitY has entrusted C-DAC Noida to implement the Project titled "Cyber Security Scenario based Self-Paced Learning Training Facility (Cyber GYAN) for SC, ST and Economically Weaker Section Computer Science and Electronics Under Graduate and Post Graduate students of Government Colleges of 8 North-Eastern States and 4 other States Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Gujrat and Kerala of India.

The Project will develop skilled manpower in the highly needed domain of cyber security to safeguard the critical infrastructure from cyber-attacks.

1. Basic Cyber Security Training
2. Advanced Cyber Security Training using hands-on sessions in a self-paced learning mode using real-time cyber-attacks.
3. Master training for faculty members

1. Unique platform for self-paced learning-based cyber security training.
2. Web portal for accessing basic and advanced cyber security contents and virtual lab.
3. 100 cyber security scenarios representing real-time cyber-attacks.
4. Secure and controlled Scenario-wise customized environment for each student for hands-on.

1. The Cyber Gyan virtual training facility has been set up with the Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) platform.
2. This platform is equipped with Software Defined Networking (SDN) for the automated creation and management of virtual networks.
3. RDP-based GUI access to the virtual lab and browser-based access to the cyber security courses.
