Brief Description

Indian Institute of Management Calcutta is endowed with huge collection of old records and documents which are required to be digitally preserved in electronic media. In order to have seamless access to digitized content, an efficient storage, search and repository-cum-retrieval system will also be provided. C-DAC, Kolkata proposes a solution to Indian Institute of Management Calcutta to preserve their old documents in electronic media by digitizing them in standard format so that the contents may be accessed by any available means in future, if required. All digitized contents will be transferred into a Digital Object Repository and be accessible over Intranet of Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
