Nominations are invited from Scientists & Technologists working in Government Sector for the Offline Training Programme sponsored by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India under “National Programme for Training of Scientists and Technologists working in Government Sector”.

| Target Group: | The scientists/ Technologist (Group-A only) holding scientific posts/ working in Scientific Ministries/ Departments of Govt. of India and State Governments, Autonomous Institutions/ Public Sector Undertakings of Central/ State Governments, Research and Development Institutions/ Research Laboratories of Central / State Governments, Central/ State Universities, State Science & Technology Councils. The Scientists and Academicians (only Ph.D./ M.Tech Degree holders) from Central and State Universities, Educational Institutions & Colleges, engaged in R&D in any discipline of Science & Technology are also eligible.

Course Objective:
- Distinguish between Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Mixed Reality (MR) technologies.
- Navigate the Unity interface and manipulate objects within a 3D scene.
- Understand and apply basic C# programming concepts for Unity development.
- Develop a basic AR experience using Vuforia
- Create a simple VR scene using A-Frame and understand web-based VR applications
- Collaborate in teams to design and present a basic immensive reality project.
Necessary Information:This is Offline Training Programme and fee/sponsorship of the training programme will be met by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India.
Maximum two nominations per organization shall be permitted.
*Important Note: The participants are requested to fill the nominations at the earliest because seats are limited. The nominations received shall be scrutinized as per Training guidelines set by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India. The call letter for selected participants in the offline Training Programme will be sent via email. This Training Programme will adhere to the norms, rules, and regulations set forth by the DST.
