Educational Qualification	MA in History / Sanskrit/Marathi and Competence in Modi script
Experience	At least 10 years' of post qualification experience in working with Modi script and knowledge of its intricacies and imparting knowledge of Modi.
Age	Maximum 65 years as on last date of submission of application as mentioned in advt.
Skill set	Knowledge of the diachronic and historical variants of Modi. Knowledge of the styles of the script and the allographs of different characters within a historical perspective. Skill in Manuscriptology: Ability to read old MSS and identify the different eras of the script. Ability to work on the digital platform and guide calligraphers in development of Modi fonts
Job Profile	The position demands a deep knowledge of Modi and its shape variants within a diachronic perspective in order to develop Modi fonts. The candidate should have worked in the area of analyzing and deciphering manuscripts. (S)he should be aware of the different stylistic conventions of each period. Above all the candidate should be able to synthesize and transfer this knowledge to the font development team. The job demands not only an excellent knowledge of the script but also ability to transfer the knowledge to calligraphers.
Duration of consultancy	Initially for the period of 1 year or up to the age of 65 years whichever is earlier
Consultancy Fees	As commensurate with experience, qualifications and skill sets.
