Since its inception in 1988, C-DAC has been at the forefront of developing indigenous supercomputing systems and advanced interconnect technologies, building a robust in-house expertise in both hardware and software innovation. Recognizing the transformative potential of quantum computing, C-DAC has designated it as a key mission area. In pursuit of timely and impactful outcomes, C-DAC is committed to fostering collaborations with end users, stakeholders, academia, and industry. These partnerships will not only accelerate the development and deployment of cutting-edge quantum solutions but also ensure the successful integration of quantum technologies across various sectors.
The Center for Quantum Technologies, IIIT Delhi aims to become India’s leading hub for advancing and sharing knowledge in quantum technologies. Its mission is to drive interdisciplinary research and development in quantum computing, quantum communication, and quantum materials and devices, focusing on creating affordable solutions that address specific needs and opportunities within India. The center is dedicated to developing a highly skilled workforce at undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels to propel the advancement of quantum technologies in the country.
About TechTrends Symposium
C-DAC and IIIT Delhi are jointly organizing Quantum TechTrends symposium to explore the technologies, systems, and subsystems (including software stacks, error correction, etc.) that form the building blocks of quantum computers. The TechTrends symposium aims to bring together all the key players in the quantum computing ecosystem, both Indian and global, on a single platform to discuss various factors that would drive sustainability and accelerate engineering advancements in state-of-the-art quantum technologies.
Objective of the TechTrends Symposium
- To provide a platform for researchers and students to network and exchange ideas with peers and experts.
- To promote collaboration and partnerships among academia, industry, Start-ups and government in the field of quantum computing.
- To inspire and motivate the next generation of quantum computing researchers and professionals.
