Online Examination System for Hindi Prabodh, Praveen & Pragya based on LILA Technology
Online Examination System for Hindi Prabodh, Praveen & Pragya based on LILA Technology is developed for Central Hindi Training Institute [CHTI], a sub-ordinate office of the Department of Official Language [DOL], Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.
These examinations are conducted by Central Hindi Training Institute. Prabodh, Praveen and Pragya examinations have been conducted since 1955 by Hindi Teaching Scheme, a Subordinate office of Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs. Earlier these examinations were being conducted in conventional written mode but now in the perspective of modernization it has been decided that 75% part of the above mentioned examinations may be conducted online. Since development of writing skill is equally important in learning a language, 25% (Part 'B') of this exam therefore is to be written by hand. On the initiative of Department of Official language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Central Hindi Training Institute and CDAC, Pune have jointly made the arrangements to conduct these examinations online.
On behalf of CHTI and DOL, the Applied AI Group, C-DAC, Pune has conducted a few online exams (through Internet) for Hindi Prabodh, Praveen and Pragya. Candidates from New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru centers appeared for these exams.
Online Examination is broadly divided into 03 main modules. These main modules again consisting various sub modules with a variety of features which provides the ease of access for the Administrator, Nodal and Assistant authorities, Invigilators and Superintendents.
